Even if you have a critical eye and constantly evaluate your work to find flaws, there's always shit you're going to miss and need a second opinion to gague what needs improving on
Not to mention it's just more convenient and fun to do than mulling over every detail by on your own, maybe not with the zoomer youtube audience the kid has, but certainly with other creatives they'll meet later in life
And sometimes other people just give a completely different perspective that, even if you might not deem suitable for what you're trying to do, is at least useful to consider once in a while as an option to explore and take your work further, and not get bored of doing the same shit over and over
