And even then the drawabox guy tends to add his own twist on these exercises which most of the time completely miss the purpose of the exercise.
The main exercise for drawabox, which is obviously drawing boxes, isn't really as useful as some people like to pretend.
Sure, being able to draw boxes somewhat correctly in perspective without needing any setup is definitely useful, but grinding boxes is just a waste of time.
In DS you have to draw boxes for week 3 I believe, and that's it.
It's just a passing exercise to get you comfortable with drawing boxes, not to grind them for 50 hours.
DS spends more time on combining different forms and understanding how to use construction to draw stuff from reference so you can build your visual library.
The drawabox guy tries to go past just drawing boxes, but all of his explanations and exercises just fall flat and he even had a chapter on anatomy which he removed because it was below /beg/ tier.
Drawabox will definitely make you really good at drawing boxes, but that's about it.
