If its a hobby, then its supposed to be fun. Start by copying the things YOU like and think are cool, you will learn how to draw what you see while having fun appreciating your interests. I learned how to draw by copying Pokemon cards when I was 5 years old.
If it seems too frustrating and difficult at first you can take pictures you like and trace over them. Its very satisfying as a noob and will teach you a lot about how to make lines, how to use a pencil for more than writing.
