>>4276484i posed for a bit so here's my pov
1. yes it was awkward for me to pose for people i studied with. i felt much more comfortable with posing for strangers. i never got naked in front of friends because i just straight up refused even though i got less money. i dont know what its like for guys though. im just an art student as well and ive heard my male peers comment on the model's tits or ass so many times and i didnt want to go through that.
2. it is pretty hard, it takes a toll on your back and shoulders. its important to use your breaks wisely (so not sitting in place with your phone, you have to stretch a bit and walk around) and exercise at home, yoga helps a lot for these kind of issues.
3. coming up with poses - it depends. some schools prefer to just set the pose for you, but there was also a school i worked for that expected you to come up with poses. i looked up croquis cafe before the classes and just tried to copy these lol
its also really important that you teach yourself to stop fidgeting. there are a lot of small movements you do unconsciously that drive people insane.
