Noticing a theme ITT between the genders. For art that looks masculine:
>Simplistic color usage
>Good construction of the human body in general, with some modifications to make the figures more attractive.
>Women and girls faces have minimal to neoteny in detail
>More variety in poses and simpler poses have some unique details, more risk taking in foreshortening
>Variety in subject matter
Works that look feminine:
>Unfinished and messy
>Complex color usage
>Either a Western/CalArts influence
>More emphasis on the face
>Bodies lacking construction and have a softer appeal
>Lacking variety in pose, restricting mostly to simple poses
>Vibe of art either feels generic, copied, or lacking originality
There are some exceptions, but so far it seems that these are common factors that determines the sex of the artist.
