>>3937898Alright so let me do this math
400 challenges divided into 5 categories is 80 challenges per category. Divide that into the weighting is:
That's 32 beginner challenges, 24 intermediate challenges, 16 advanced challenges, and 8 fuck-yous per category
So as far as categories I like Anatomy, Volumes, Composition, and Style as categories. I think Character design should be expanded to "Design" so that we can put in enviornmental design or other design challenges.
So as far as challenges what should they be? So far I'm thinking
Anatomy: Do 5 2 minute gestures of humans doing simple poses (beginner),
Volumes: Draw 10 of [platonic volume (Sphere, Cube, Cone, Cylinder, Pyramid, Torus)] from any angle (beginner), Shade 10 of [platonic volume] from light to dark
Design: ????
Composition: Draw a character standing straight up from a head-on angle (beginner)
Style: Draw something in your style (beginner), Print out a still frame from any 2d disney movie and trace over it (beginner),
and I also need to figure out how to place
