>>5702473Like anything else it's practice, but it's also fucking SUPER stupid to learn (due to extremely scarce quality learning sources) and I don't fault anyone for struggling at first. There are also a shit ton of different ways to approach it, so you really need to get a lot of examples of stuff you like and study them well to understand a style. For instance, you'll notice on my lines there are some kind of chunky "shapes" at the thicker ends of the lines (see the knee, the top of the boot etc.) and that's a very western modern comic thing to do, where you're trying to make every single line look "cool" by giving them personality. Also, in line work, the line weight depicts a LOT of different things, it can be shading, it can be how close to the camera things are, it can get thinner to represent 2 soft forms pressing together etc.) so I've attached a really commonly shared guide that tells the basics well.
