Considering doing gay art, your quasi-porn of female characters looks like Moon Over June.
Stop doing "character study" type stuff, start doing whole scenes. This doesn't have to be replete with excess detail, it just has to tell a STORY (visually). It can just be a guy with an axe and ripped clothes and a little bit of dirt and some trees and then you add a little bit of story telling detail like he drug the axe along the ground so it made a trail leading away from something out of view.
His clothes are ripped but he's a got a triumphant expression on his face. And so on; basically what you're already drawing but put it together to tell a visual story. Once you start doing that, you can learn about COMPOSITION which is how to frame your drawing the way a photographer frames his shots to create visual interest.
