I gotta admit I saved some of your works because I’m a tradfag and I fucking hate coloring. I made this a year ago (cover of my ongoing comic, almost finished, maybe next month) and my coloring still fucking sucks. I love inking though.

1. don't do pillow shading
2. you might benefit from studying anime 2-tone or 3-tone shading. Not because it's anime, but because the style lends itself to your markers.

24. Just decided to get serious the last 2 months but been drawing since I was a kid

Coffee and getting a schedule going helped me tame my ADHD lol. Right now focusing my efforts on construction and style-influences. Hoping to develop a webcomic too. Don't care if no one reads but I wanna have that accomplishment under my belt.

Drawing as a hobby since 14
Started taking it seriously 2-3 years ago.

This is most recent thing I finished: just something simple. Still some things I need practice with, but I'll get there, and compared to 3 years ago, I've made a lot of progress. Won't say I'm where I want to be yet, but considering where I've been, I'm pretty content with my pace of progress.

Keep drawing, anons. It doesn't get easier; you get better.

I have been drawing since I was 7. I began taking lessons at age 11 and stopped at 18. I've been doing a shit ton of practice but my method and inconsistently has caused my art to suffer. I even considered giving up at some point but now at age 20, I'm obsessed with getting better and better.

Just about 24, took on drawing as my hobby, area of interest, and social image at 15. I haven't drawn anything in that time of course, but I know more about the topic than anyone else I know, so I'm still the art guy.
