You're obviously just butthurt. I didn't grow up with the series, as someone with no nostalgia for it the original series was barley better than Korra.>Retarded millennial random humor turned up to 11
The original series had for more cringy kids humor, in fact the cringiest Korra got was referencing the original series. A guy yelling about cabbages is "lol random" humor, not a real joke. A loser acting tough and throwing out kid-friendly gang signs while talking about how good their tribe is is super cringy.>Cliches everywhere
Like what, every cartoon ever?>Mature themes sidestepped
Compare Aang losing in S2 and the "magic water saves you and you wake up OK again a few months later!" with Korra getting completely brutalized and needing YEARS of actually doing shit like learning to walk again, dealing with the shame of being wheelchair-bound when she's supposed to be a big shot hero, ect. >Love triangle plot
You mean the exact same thing ATLA did, but less predictable? Complain about the ending all you want, but they had the balls to have a love triangle without an obvious and safe endgame.>Zero worldbuilding
Korra explored the entire planet, showed in-depth industrialization that centered around shit like lightning-bending and metalbending, made the water tribes actually matter, built the air nomads up again, explored the spirit world, gave backstory to unexplained plot elements, and yet still has "zero worldbuilding"?>Zero character development
Sure it had less than ATLA but it was there. Tenzin humbled himself, Korra humbled herself and grew, ect.>Previously established lore drastically changed with no further elaboration or development on it because they wanted two girls to kiss
Except there was no previously established lore about the origins of bending, we had lore on how people can learn it, which is still true in Korra. Korra went further back, it didn't retcon anything. They never showed 2 girls kissing either, it's non-canon.
