Why do people keep shipping Superman and Wonder Woman despite the fact that they are the worst couple ever??

Superman is suppose to be “HOPE” and “LOVE”. He believes in a second chance for everyone. He literally believes that killing is always wrong and never justified ever (even going as far to compare people who kill to Hitler). Yet writers keep trying to pair him up with Wonder Woman? A WARRIOR? A Warrior who kills people without hesitation and for fun? And you want to pair that blood-thirsty Barbarian with the symbol of Hope? Even ignoring the No-kill rule, they have literally nothing in common. Clark is an immigrant raised by adopted loving parents, the last of his race, and a reporter. Diana is a royal princess, one of many Amazons, and a trainee from birth warrior. And they have nothing similar in personality.

And yet people keep trying to ship them despite having the chemistry of wood.

Why???
