>>99979256Disney Cinemagic in the UK was airing Dave the Barbarian and Lloyd in Space (among others) in true HD a few years back, so at the very least Europe bothered to find the right copies. I would hope the Disney with their limitless funds would bother to put the best possible versions up, hell they remastered all of their really old Disney Afternoon shows recently and that required scanning actual film and therefore way more money and effort.
Even CN, who are notoriously lazy about this, has updated Chowder on Hulu to the true HD version and done the same for My Gym Partner's a Monkey and Camp Lazlo on Boomerang, all of which were produced that way but never broadcast or seen in widescreen until now
(Still waiting on them to do that with Flapjack though..)
After a few years of kids' networks being seemingly completely disinterested in reruns or making their older shows available we're definitely seeing an upward trend towards archival, and I hope it continues. It's probably all about building the raw numbers in their streaming library in order to look competitive but whatever gets the job done and the shows out there is cool by me. The cultural cache of nostalgia at the moment helps too
