I'm going to do you all one up and post an actual problem, from my real life. But I'll spoiler it so you can ignore it.
I'm thinking of applying to become a policeman. As a navy veteran, uniformed life doesn't scare me, but I'm also in school right now and concerned that I may never get back to earning my degree if I do go for a police career. At the same time "veteran" implies I'm a bit older than most recruits and want to get in now than later for that reason, and I also want to get out of this particular area instead of being stuck in it since it's utterly populated by elderly and backwards-looking residents... but I'm cognizant that policeman in a rural-ish area is a really stable and well-paying job in many instances versus cities.
So, basically, it's applying and focusing on such a career NOW or keep bumming through a degree, whilst feeling my age and aggravation at the slow burn of school and being in a bumfuck area. If you read all this, thanks I suppose, and have a nice day/evening.
Oh, and I'm really not looking forward to Bendis on Superman.
