>>99800472Thats kind of a good point, but even 10 years ago they were trying to do things to cater to those untapped demographics, only they werent so overt with their agenda.
Also back then, when catering to a demo they went by the most popular stereotypes, for a lack of a better word.
Example. Waynehead is in the hood, cause Damon grew up in the hood and wanted a show to appeal to other kids in the hood. He went after an untapped market all while being somewhat genuine about it. The show came from his own life.
Now CotC is about blacks in a suburban setting. Okay fine. Now there arent many blacks who cant relate to that so that kinda alienates the target demo, if the target demo is young blacks. Stats show most black youth in the US live in projects.
But maybe CotC is aimed at suburban blacks. Fine. But that then begs the question, if theres that many blacks living in the burbs then whats all this bullshit about blacks being oppressed? And if you think for a sec. That the writers arent on the sjw train and dont think that blacks are being oppressed and under represented, well id have to say youre being a bit naive.
Also it may not seem like a lot but theres star vs, steven U, CotC, and i guess Clarence since some anon said it had gays in it. All those shows, in the same time span come out, doesnt seem a bit suspicious? You dont see how all those shows cater to sjw talking points in some way?
