New Gods are at least Superman and Wonder Woman level. Superman and Wonderwoman are bullet-proof. Therefor New Gods must be Bullet Proof. Or at least that's how I figured it, though I can't really remember any New God dealing with bullets.

yes,they could physically hurt an incapacitated Superman, while a common thug could pound on Superman all day and just hurt his own hands. Superman would never let them get near him since he's a better fighter, but yes, they have the capability to physically hurt Superman without a weapon.

I assume it's like fighting Mike Tyson. You could never beat Mike Tyson in a fight. He's so much faster\stronger\better then you, you'd be pulverized. Yet, tie him up and even a weak girl could hurt Tyson.

Desaad could never beat Superman in a fight, but they're strong enough to physically hurt him. Compare this to Batman, who could never hurt Superman with just his bare strength.

Forager is a weak puny little bug in New Genesis, yet he routinely shows strength and ability greater then the average Earthman.

She gets directly hit with bullets in the next pages of the following issue which do penetrate the skin as that one did but it doesn't bring her down. That one did because it was a shock as she so rarely is distracted enough to get hit.

Depending on the caliber of bullet, its going to do one of 3 things; bounce off her, break the skin like a bad paintball hit, or actually penetrate thus requiring the bracelets.
