The writing is dumbed down to toddler level (like seriously, the villains repeat their motives out loud to themselves multiple times) and all of the stories are insanely played out and cliche tropes, the characters are Idiot Ball'd like crazy, all of the songs are generic pop / poprock songs, the characters literally look like barbie dolls, the animation is stiff and rushed, there's tons of forced cheesy romance, etc.
EQG was made to rip off Monster High, and they ripped off everything, including the shitty writing and animation.
