Second, the whole thing smacks of just trying to make it blow over quickly to me, especially if there is statue of limitations involved. It happens a lot; people pay a settlement or agree to say that something happened, just to get it blown over with quickly or for damage limitation.
I'm sorry, but they haven't helped themselves here. I am quite strict with this shit. I let a man go who had quite clearly assaulted another man in a jury trial because he was being charged with robbery and the Prosecution could not prove he stole anything. I will not damn a man who may look to be guilty until he is proven to be so. And right now, all nothing here, as presented to me by you saying 'They hve XYZ" proves to me that he did anything. Show me the logs, testimony doesn't work because anyone can say it, where is the lawyer's statement, what did he say exactly, etc, etc?
