>>99530714I love Fantomex and the U-Men as well.
I love weird characters in general and Fantomex is one. He is a nano-sentinel human/mutate hybrid with three brains and a UFO as his neural system. In my headcanon he is a herm not because of queer-stuff but as a tribute to Rebis from Doom Patrol.
Characters like Azrael, Moon Knight and Fantomex have in common that they are not in contrl of their thoughts. Fantomex's brain were engineered in a manner that he he can't believe in anything than himself and that he can justify every crime that he will do, he will never feel shame or regret, thus he will never feel love. But he tries, he tries to be more than he was created for. And in my opinion he is stronger than he thinks he is.
What I really am dissapointed is the waste of him and the U-Men, in fact the entire Morrison-era was wasted. Some of you may disslike it, but I think that Morrison gave the X-Men a greater variety of storytelling and after House of M that storytelling was lost.
