>>99541913Last time I checked which was a few months ago, the production had barely started. Production allegedly started in June of 2017, but it's almost been a year with no content to show for it. All we've seen is the crew involved and a few cheap concept designs for the new characters. It was supposed to be airing in Fourth Quarter of 2018 to coincide with their digital streaming service, but it seems like it may be getting pushed back.
My guess as to all of the issues is that Warner Brothers green lit the third season under the assumption that their DC cinematic universe would have kicked off by now and with it would have brought a ton of hype and new viewers to their smaller projects, this show included. They're digital streaming service was their way to circumvent the costs of airing on TV, just like Netflix. Of course, with the dismal returns of their films, resources towards their other projects have all but disappeared as WB is more focused on damage control than a relatively unimportant cartoon.
I don't think the cartoon is getting canned, but there is a good chance that it will either be rushed or continue to be delayed. Basically, if you're still holding out hope for the show, either expect to wait another year or so, or expect a rushed and poorly written season.
