>>99348531>Temporal genocide? The fuck are you talking about...
I'm talking about that every generation from when Jack was sent into the future up until when he got back to the past now no longer exist. Every single person is gone.>ou don't know that to have happened.
It literally did, considering that Ashi phased out of existence because Aku never existed. The exact same fate was shared by EVERYONE in that future.
> He changed history for the better seeing as how the future was terrible for every "good person".
He didn't change history, he completely erased and replaced it, and the fact that it was a terrible future is no excuse for literal genocide on Jack's part. the future was getting better, objectively So, thanks to his efforts, and it only would have continued to do so had he killed Aku in the future.>>99348534>Jack had a set goal, which he never wavered from, that he accomplished.
And his goal was objectively wrong and harmful to anyone who spent the slimmest amount of time contemplating what it implied. At absolute best, it was a Pyrrhic victory for jack, with an extreme cost. >Maybe Genndy had a completely different moral in mind, which you refuse to accept because you've already made up your mind on what it was "supposed" to have been.
The themes and morals of the show have been explicitly explained and documented multiple times by multiple anons in this thread; it's not our fault if Genndy is too much of a hack to even understand his own show.>>99348547
What part of any of that is relativism? Aku is evil, no one is debating that, and it would have been better for everyone involved if he never existed. But he DID exist, and he DID take over the world, and that's part of history; history and its agents need to move forward from that point to change the future, rather than fucking the past.
