Temple of Mars:
This must've been one tricky episode to write/board. There's a lot of different elements going on, and it's impressive that they're able to make it all fit together.
I really liked Jermaine's presence in this episode. His dream connection with Jake was a clever way to kickstart the mission to find him, and it's nice to see him interact with Finn for once. He was also the perfect person to give Betty the advice to let go of the past and focus on herself more, given his similar troubles.
Betty's development was intriguing. She was supposed to learn in the mind maze that it's best she accept the loss of Simon, and move on with her life, but she's more determined than ever to save him at the end of the episode. I'm curious to see how far her obsession will take her, and if a happy ending is even possible for her at this point. Also, it's interesting how King Man was being very hypocritical, because going by his many statues of Margles, he's far from moved on himself.
What held it back was that it's basically just a setup for the finale, and it's a bit clunky because of how stuffed it was. Still, I enjoyed it, and it has me excited for where it will go from here. 7/10
Easily the best of the four. It was funny, action-packed and the tension in it was palpable. Overall, just a fantastic episode. 8 maybe 9/10.
