If you want black Captain America, just retcon it so Steve was black all along, instead of doing the 90s thing where you make a new character who only exists to undermine the last character and pretend they never existed.
Like, is Nick Fury any worse character when he's black in MCU? Obviously fucking not, he's just as badass as the white Nick Fury.
Like, if they want asian Hulk, just make Bruce Banner asian, instead of replacing him with Cho. Just give us the same character, with one variable about them changed and write them the same way you used to. That'd be more acceptable to get exact same character, just slightly changed - than shoving a completely new character in our faces and telling us that we need to care about them now or we're racist.
That'd make more sense than this stupid shit Marvel is doing.
