It's more that for example TBC's assertation that average white IQ is 14 points above Latino IQ is used to argue that Latinos ahould be barred from jobs due to low intelligence while Jewish IQ being 10 points above white IQ oddly isn't used to argue that whites should be barred from jobs for their low intelligence.
Anyway, as somone who tests way above the IQ mean for any race, the fact that you can substantially improve your IQ just by practicing the kinds of problems on IQ tests makes it a shaky and questionable measurement, and people who join Mensa or focus on their IQs are a pretty sad lot. Anyway there's more intragroup variance than average intergroup variance in IQ so unless you're, say, an academic or medical researcher trying to make a positive difference by improving/shoring up weaknesses, there's not much point fixating on it.
People who do tend to feel they have nothing but their race to be proud of, or have some other insecurity or chip on their shoulder. No matter what, even in a totally homogeneous group, dealing with incompetent and obnoxious people, annoying ideas and pop culture and so on, will happen. You focus on your own accomplishments and friendships. And if you do seriously care about improving human intelligence, I agree with the above comment that you'll work in, fund, or otherwise support genetic engineering or AI/cybernetic enhanchements, smart drugs, new methods of education or something but will likely be utterly revolutionary fairly soon unless we drop the ball badly. Not sit around on a computer obsessing and focusing on what other people genetically similar or dissimilar to you tend to score on school tests. What's the purpose of that? It doesn't make you more successful, your relationship with your wife and kids happier, or the world better. It's not even fun.
