This is such an incredibly over hyping of Dana it reads like either a friend, a fan, or Dana herself.
1. Every board artist starts out as a revisionist first. She was always going to be a board artist, she didn't "climb the ladder" from revisionist to board artist, that's how studios function.
2. Disney did not hand her out the job because she blew them away with her abilities. They offered her a job to board on Ducktales and she said, "No thanks, I'm kind of interested in directing" and because Ducktales did not have a crew yet, they said they had positions opened and offered it to her.
3. Anyone at studios can pitch a show. An intern at Disney can go to the office of whoever is in charge of series development and ask if they can send them a sample pitch book. Considering she was dating Hirsch at this point, she most likely got the advice from him to do so.
You're hyping her up as being the most hard working person at the studio which is kind of crazy considering people like Sabrina have a comic ongoing while they have a full-time directing and boarding job. Half the people at Disney are hard working, that's how they got there in the first place.
