For starters, Spectrum will show up in Captain Marvel, that's pretty much but confirmed. Recently Feige slipped the name by accident while speaking about representation. And second, ignoring the fact that some of you would want a Monica Rambeau movie only to fuck with Carol and not because you actually like her, she went through several names already and she really didn't last too long with the Captain Marvel monicker.
But most of all her relation to Mar-Vell is tenuous at best, not to mention her powerset is completely different than Carol's, so it would be ridiculous to try and give her a name she did nothing with instead of the one she uses now that more accurately represents her.
