>>98774537So let me get this straight; you didn't actually read the study, immediately googled "FAIR study debunked", and didn't even bother reading that either, and have the audacity to blame others for a lack of critical thinking.
Lets look at the "debunking".
1. The difference between 11.5 million and 12.5 million statistically isn't much of a difference, especially when attempting to track illegal immigrants, so this point is irrelevant.
2. The children of illegal immigrants sucking up welfare is a problem that illegal immigrants have caused, so it's entirely valid to add that to the cost of illegal immigration. If they weren't illegally here in the first place, their children wouldn't be sucking up welfare.
3. This one is just insane. "We suggest an easy remedy to this problem – cut immigration enforcement." If illegal immigration wasn't such a massive problem, we wouldn't have to spend so much on immigration enforcement. This should also give you a hint as to the true motivations behind this "debunking".
4. Their source doesn't even back up their claim. It was nothing about illegal immigrants, and is only about improperly filed tax credits.
5. Again, the sources they cite don't match their "debunking". Hell, one of them even says that the Emergency Medicaid claimed by illegal immigrants has been steadily increasing.
Do you want me to keep going, or are you actually going to read what you post now?
