>>98639929The whole thing seems rather curious, isn't.
Like, we get almost nothing but fruity, stereotypical gay men in the media for almost quarter of a century. Little by little becoming more and more human with every little step.
The 70's and 80's had campy faggy homosexual men surrounded by fag-hags and with almost zero personality beyond that.
The 90's had less campy-yet-effeminate gay men.
Then, the 00's had FINALLY normal gay men and even "manly gay" characters, but still a minority.
But then, the 10's came and suddenly the focus shifted towards lesbians. Not only that, lesbians with blue-dyed hair, Skrillex haircuts, twitter accounts and feminist agendas, to the point it's almost a stereotype now.
Like, geez, 40 years of being ganged and beaten up in the streets just for this? Thanks Hollywood.
