There are different things that are good, but they aren't good because they're different. There are lots of things that are different that are bad, and there are a lot of things that are good that are very much the same as others.
So instead of focusing on making things different the focus should be making things good, and if you can do this with a new idea, fine, but nothing wrong with doing it with an old one.
