>>98125683It's honestly not as bad as I feared, but it's awfully derivative and predictable for anyone who's seen a movie before. It feels like the kinda film made by men who had no idea what they were talking about, and a good chunk of the characters are hard to relate to or hard to like.
A lot of the plot points are just excuses to show off whatever app they have licensed for the movie and most of the humor just falls flat.
I think the only thing I kinda like about the movie is the idea that the main character doesn't get with the female lead in the end. It's sort of a predictable thing to happen and so I was kinda pleasantly surprised when there was no "actually I love you" scene. It wasn't about HER realizing she really did like him. It was more about HIM coping with rejection. Although that being said, the last 20 minutes is a weird time for a "character arc".
