Suspense your disbelief for a moment here, and imagine you've been given the opprotunity to write the DEFINITIVE canon death of The Joker. This story will be immune to any future retcons, reboots, or any of that type of bullshit (if you wish it to be).. At worst; he'll eventually get replaced with a distinctly unique legacy character or something a few years later...

But anyways, how would you go about doing this sort of thing? What kind of story would you fashion it into; an epic crossover "event" arc? A self-contained one shot that'll leave other writers to deal with aftermath? How would you want him done in? Pitch your ideas.
