Simple. A love of strong women is, as can easily be observed by this thread, a love of women which are muscular, large, and dominant, all defining masculine traits. The love of masculinity in one's lover is in essence an expression of psychical, as the material of I. Sadger aptly demonstrates, a common sign of inversion; the man is like a woman in being subject to the charm that proceeds from masculine attributes both physical and mental, known to the common yeoman as 'homosexuality'. Note that these are not absolute inverts, as the object of their sexual desire, despite its masculinity, is still recognizably female. Thus we can rule out the possibility of this inversion being innate, as readers of Ellis will no doubt already have figured out. This leads us to the only possibility currently known for the appearance of inversion: a distressing experience with a normal sexual object. The most obvious of these would be an Oedipal complex broken by a perceived failure of the mother to protect her child, or possibly abuse of a physical and sexual nature towards it, and a subsequent transposing of that experience onto other feminine female objects.
So, /co/, tell me about your mother.
