Same here, OP. Almost dropped it after Ultimatum completly. Althought in the end I did come back and went reading DC when New 52 came out.

I began reading marvel at ANAD and then dropped it after the pleasant hill stuff as all the books I was pulling were involved in it meaning it was 3+ issues of tie-in for each series, thats 1/4 of the damn year, it's also because I knew that it was just going to be events day in day out from then on. I'm still happily buying DC though, hopefully they don't fuck up, so glad Doomsday clock doesn't have tie-in and isn't derailing anything except Metal, which was by one issue and Capullo was sick anyway

Children's Crusade was the last book I read. Tried to get through Gillen YA and couldn't

I tried sticking to Ultimate stuff after Ultimatum. X-Men got really bad after Kitty became the leader of some desert nation. They killed Peter and Miles was too boring after the time jump. Ultimates went completely to shit.

New 52 killed DC for me

World War Hulk, I was new to superheroes back then and it took couple events to wake me up to how company meddling would never allow anything to go for more than 3 issues without some stupid ass crossover event fucking it up.
