>>97528586I am going assume that this is current me, as trying to emulate the exact actions and mindset of 16-year old would be annoyingly difficult and probably embarrassing.
Not using anything from what was done though is a quite the handicap however. Despite the execution, there were quite a few elements and concepts from Season 2B that could have been salvageable, like the Unicorn humbling Mabel, or Bill essentially being a Warhammer Style Tzeentian Daemon who wants to sow chaos in reality, Stanford Pines, or even Mabel’s reality bubble prison if done right.
The really Hard part however is not being allowed Use NWHS, as that was not only one of the best episodes, but was also well built-up to and foreshadowed in both Season 1 and 2. Elements such as the G-men and their investigation, The portal, and McGucket all set up in a way that makes no Using anything from NWHS damn near impossible, and the Urgency McGucket’s appearance gives at the end of NWMN makes pushing off the climax in favor of adding my own build up elements to alter the flow a non-option. People are expecting a payoff, and cheaping out on that would piss a lot of people off, and be a very poor to my tenure. In the end, I would have no other option but to bite the bullet and incorporate at least a few parts from NWHS and the original script into the first episode I work on.
>Slow Day at the Mystery Shack, no Tourists>Wendy is reading a magazine, Stan is grousing over the Lack of Business Soos and Mabel are goofing around, Dipper however is on edge >He confesses to Mabel that McGucket’s warning has him on Edge and that he feels they should be looking for whatever it is he was talking about,>Mabel points out that it would be pretty hard to find and stop this catastrophe if they don’t even know what it is, and in a town as wierd as Gravity Falls “I’ll know it when I see it” isn’t exactly true.>Mabel tries to get him to stop obsessing over it and join her and Soos.(Cont)
