>>97434598>Did nobody tell him the titans lost to the gods?So then the scene follows with Viking going forward. Ladybug gets inspired during the speech but pauses at the end. Then looks at Jetpack Valkyrie, asking in a whispering tone "Isn't that how the titans died?"
Valkyrie replies: "My husband has shortcomings, but his valour more than makes up for it all. It is times like these when my heart truly bleeds.".
Oh yeah, Valkyrie was there. When Viking had his jetpack damaged and landed, Valkyrie goes to his aid and informs him that he cannot win alone against this foe. Viking tells that if she'd fight alongside him, he'd need no more than that to find victory from the jaws of defeat.
But Valkyrie cannot join, for she is not allowed to protect the lives of those who she is to escort to the afterlife (it's one of the big no-nos as far as her job goes!).
- "This time, I cannot fight by your side."
- "What? You fight for me all the time, but not when it matters?!"
- "I would not tolerate for my husband to bear the insults of weaklings. But if I were to aid him in a death match, I would forfeit my position as a Valkyrie, as surely as he would lose his right to enter the great halls beyond."
- "Woman, fetch me my thunder hammer! I shall break that metal miscreant alone if need be!".
That's when Ladybug lands near them, rather ungracefully, as her booster only had so much juice as to fire up intermittently, preventing a fatal landing but not tumbling into the dirt. Then follows this part:
