She brought nearly everything upon herself up to and including the two "kill all of humanity plans" that went south. Shit, the second one would have taken out her own daughter/literally every gargoyle as well as well but she stopped giving fucks even about Angela by then. (Honestly, let this sink in: if that had worked, she and MacBeth would have been the last two shitheads on the planet until one strangled the other.)
All this started in her attempt to betray the ungrateful humans of Castle Wyvryn, which blew up in her face. She blamed everyone but herself for that and then betrayed others at the first sign of trouble constantly. She never had true remorse for her actions apart from a few fleeting moments of realization and self loathing... and even then, she NEVER stopped backstabbing people.
Shit, if he were around, Skeletor would have been taking notes.
