>>97307304I can't honestly say for sure, but given what we've seen we can probably assume a few things.
For instance, Gamora and Nebula will likely never fully become "sisters" before one of them dies, though the death of one will facilitate the completion of the other's development arc (if you had to ask me, I imagine Gamora is going to die to allow Nebula full transition into "good guy" territory).
Peter has reconciled his issues with both his mother and father(s), so the only place for him to go at this point is Earth to meet his living relatives. Based on this, unless the third movie takes place on Earth Peter is more or less done with his development as far as the trilogy is concerned.
In the first movie, Drax was able to find peace with the death of his wife and daughter, and the second movie shows how his acceptance of their passing has given him new facets to his character (even though he was the source of a lot of terrible humor for the sequel, the scene where he's reminiscing to Mantis about his family is fucking beautiful and one of the best parts of the entire movie), but all in all he's mostly done developing and he'll likely be used to further develop other characters, most likely Mantis.
Speaking of, Mantis' arc will probably involve her figuring out how to understand her own emotions and breaking out of her shell (in a manner of speaking) to become her own person, to realize that she is her own person and not just a tool for others to use.
I see Rocket coming to realize that maybe he can open up to other people and that maybe there's reason for him to live after all, so the third movie will either let this belief finally flourish and make him a "true hero", or will break it by having him die (which is unlikely since he's a fairly popular character).
Groot is a mystery to me, because I don't honestly know what they're doing with the whole "literally growing up again" thing.
