Instead they had to go and make her Dexter from Dexter's lab right down to the glasses and lisp. I don't even care about superficial similarities, it's the reality-bending science-fiction level creations (inter-dimensional travel, sentient AI robots, monsters created from dead organic matter, etc) that are so out of place in this cartoon.
It's so out of place, in what would otherwise be a SOL show with exaggerated caricatures that are still somewhat grounded.
