>>96653328>writers can't decide if they want her to be sardonic sassy bitch or airheaded bimbo
When you've been trapped in a mirror for ages and want to go back home, you'll probably have those same traits. She mellowed out later on.>does ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOTHING OF VALUE since her reintroduction (might as well still be under the ocean, because nothing about the show would have changed)
That's sadly true, outside of interact with Steven and Peridot more. >somehow, after nearly 2 seasons I might add, she has yet to interact with ANY character in a meaningful way besides Peridot and Steven
She doesn't even like being on Earth, I don't expect her to just start openly conversing with the other gems on a daily basis. The only characters she really has connection with are Steven and Peridot, she's still impartial to the others. >literally no character besides "muh PTSD" which isn't even fleshed out well
That's also sadly true, but it takes time to overcome shit like that. Being trapped in a mirror for ages, going back home only to find out civilization has changed drastically and you don't even fit in, then fuse with someone you hate and get stuck in the ocean for ages, she's just had a really shitty run. I don't blame her for feeling empty alongside her PTSD. It could be developed a bit better though. >Biggest case of wasted potential I have ever seen in a cartoon, or just animation as a whole. The worst part is that Sugar probably realized this so she just decided to straight up write her out of the fucking show (not like that'd change anything)
And apparently she takes the Barn and flies off somewhere, what does that contribute to the story or for her? She may as well end up alone for the rest of the story because she just doesn't seem to care enough or fit in anywhere. Bad memories of Earth, can't go home, she's just stuck.
