Every single criticism /co/ has given of this comic applies to King's other work, which outside of Batman was all well received here. Sure, you can get tired of his style, but the positives of his other runs exist here too, from the thematic storytelling to the unique structures and well thought out plots. This is a good comic, and is considered as much everywhere except here, where anons go out of their way to justify the dislike they decided they would have for it before it even came out.
I think the praise this comic has received on various sites is really getting under the skin of a lot of anons, because even if I'm wrong and you gave this a genuine chance and dislike it based on fair reasoning, the anti-kingfags still throw out "stop liking what I don't like" nonsense in every thread involving him.
Nothing major went on with the comic. It's got great storytelling and is fun to speculate on.
