5 episodes is not a backlog. Do you expect them to air 1 every few months instead of waiting for them all to be finished?>Gumballs gets average ratings
Second highest of their currently airing shows. You're still ignoring the fact serialized shows do worse on reruns.
Also, you're ignoring the importance of comparing shows by their airing dates (and the fact that bombs improve ratings).
If you looked at the last time SU was airing regularly, late 2016 to early 2017, Gumball was airing at the same time, and it did consistently better than SU.
Sure if you cherrypick massively promoted bombs like the end of season 4 and start of season 5 it appears that SU does well. But you're supposed to be arguing that bombs hurt SU, not helped it.>Uncle Grandpa
It's ratings fell near the end yes, but every shows ratings were falling. Including SU. But the point was that over SU's lifespan it has never been significantly ahead of CN's other programming.>Recently SU has been a ratings winner
That's what months of hype and weeks of advertising gets you yes. So clearly they haven't screwed it by airing it in a manner that IMPROVES its ratings.>Doesn't mean shit to it's current prospects
Trends are everything. SU loses steam over weekly airings. SU and other serialized shows don;t do good in reruns.
CN has done all it can for SU.
