>>96156042They took their time planning on it, I mean Man of Steel came out a year after DKR, it was produced by Nolan as the Superman side of the Dark Knight saga, but for some reason they weren´t smart enough to tie the two of them as the same universe which would have worked just fine.
BvS was a mess because we are suppose to take for granted the characters, we don´t know Batman from that universe and they have to keep reminding us of how much pain he has gone trough by remaking shots from previous batman entries, but the biggest crime is the fact that we can´t support either MC as Superman is a really mediocre superman and really hypocrit, and Batman just comes out as a plain murderer because ¨he is been trough some shit¨.
Add to that the fact that they had to shove WW into the movie, which while it was nice to see her in action, her character as Diana had no arc, she is just there.
And everything is wrapped up in a stinky bow by having Lex having the worst possible plan to defeat both heroes in the history of cinema.
Suicide Squad also suffered from the tonal issues as they where trying to copy GotG to a certain extent, but failling to provide a good movie, with around 40+ minutes of the main teaser of the movie The fucking Joker reduced to just 5 mins of screentime, just because they wanted to make him look like he actually gave a fuck about Harley.
Fortunatly WW works because its a stand alone piece, and we get to see the character as it was intended, not the edgy version of the character they tried to introduce with the previous entries.
JL has potential but the problem is that people still look back at BvS and see all the issues it has, hopefully WW and the new characters turn out to be massive drawing points for the audience, because right now there are people that are not even aware that the movie comes out next month.
