Trump has two major issues: Being generally unpopular, which doesn't really matter very much this early, and the fact that job growth was good for years before he took office (meaning we're already overdue for a recession), which matters a lot.
Trump has, imo, a 60% chance of winning re-election if he runs (which he might not; he's pretty old), and a significantly worse chance of holding on to Congress in 2020.
