>>95760587I've made this argument before sure, but not in like a year.
Shows how few TMNT fans there are really.
>quantity not qualityTMNT has how many cartoons? 3? And how many would you say are quality?
TMNT has how many movies? 7? And how many would you say are quality? I don't think you're thinking rationally here.
>TMNT is still popular nowadays maybe by nostalgia but people know the names of the characters, for TF people just know Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. That is a key difference, actually. Transformers has a strong core fanbase that grows with each series, TMNT is mostly known for the 80s show and subsequent series have far smaller fanbases and a far smaller overall fanbase than Transformers. Sure tons of people in their 20s know who all the turtles are because they grew up in the late 80s and early 90s during the initial craze, but it's likely they aren't fans at all, meanwhile Transformers is the opposite, lots of people these days are aware of Transformers but might not be huge fans, but the amount of huge fans surpasses that of TMNT since every generation has "their" Transformers
Once again, simple math....
Transformers, Beast Wars, Beast Machines, RiD, Armada, Energon, Cybertron, Animated, Prime, Rescue Bots, RiD the second
Transformers has done a better job at staying relevant to the core audience, which is kids
>>95760617>The Very series in OP in got like 7 seasons and a well received movie. And yet only 00's kids will ever remember it, how sad.
>As trashy action films that people only watch for the special effects
As opposed to the TMNT films which after the original were branded a slightly edgier Barney and Friends? Don't make me laugh.
