What makes you think they don't do that in comics?
Superman has Wraith, Ulysses, Zod, Bizarro, Hel'el, Prime, Henshaw, tons of guys that are "him but evil."
Flash has that to. He's got Reverse Flash, another Reverse Flash named Zolomon (who doesn't move like other Flashes, he actually moves by manipulating time which would hard counter Acellerator), a New Reverse Flash in 52, and an Anti-Flash.
2. Superheros don't try and murderfuck their opponents. When he sees Captain Boomerang he's going to try to punch him not speed steal him into a statue or vibrate him into the next universe or clock his head off at mach 2.
3. Effective supervillians don't stand in front of the hero and announce they're going to have a fight. This isn't Shonen anime. A lot of JLA stories are about them being taken surprise by telepaths/magic/keikakus because speed magic and vector magic can't save you if the Key happens to be that guy standing behind you and puts the mind whammy on you.
4. They DO fight "god or something". What do you think guys like Mageddon, Darkseid, Anti-Monitor are?
Flash has Abra Kadabra who has reality warping technology that works like magic. Mirror Master is god so long as everything is mirror themed. Captain Cold has an auto shield that slows particle movement around him.
