There are several issues with that concept.
Firstly, nobody would risk the liability of a league that actively encourages their athletes to destroy themselves to that degree. We currently have issues with modern sports concerning the safety of the athletes and have spent decades trying to make the sport safer.
These people would definitely have issue with the Transhuman League.
The money in sports comes from advertisement. Advertisers won't want to associate with sports that are condoning something we've vilified for decades especially when half the athletes inevitably go insane and beat their wives or murder someone because they're going to be hormonal psychopaths.
Traditionalists, even if you have two separate leagues, these guys are going to see it as an affront to the sport.
Soccer Moms wouldn't want to condone something that could influence their children to take dangerous drugs in the pursuit of fame.
With a league like that constantly under attack and not backed with a lot of money, it'd probably only be able to foot desperate amateurs, who won't be the higher echelon of the sport, meaning the fanbase will be primarily edgy assholes hoping one of the human pitbulls is killed in the middle of the sport while everyone else watches natural and secret roiders actually play the game well. >>95475421>Padawan braid
