You want to make character gay just because you need at least one gay character for lgbt crowd?
Or is it because it makes sense in the story and works with that character?
Look at Ray from Archer.
He's was written with being gay sassy redneck spy in mind.
Now look at Tracer from overwatch (not /co/,but fuck it).
Her being gay changes nothing and i highly doubt she was even created with being gay in mind.
I think they just created all those character and picked the most popular one to be lesbian, because they needed token gay guy/chick.
