>>95198706It's not so much as leftist culture as Hollywood is churning out shit. They're giving us remake after remake or not taking risks in writing a well-written story that makes a decent profit, but not blockbuster profits.
As much as it pains me to say this, I'm actually getting tired of how comic movies are dominating the film landscape. It's like how horror movies were from the mid-70's all the way to the early 90's. It's gonna crash and burn at some point.
Plus who wants to pay 15 bucks or more to be in a theater full of other people who are loud and/or smelly? I only go to matinees on Saturdays because I can't stand having too many people.
Leftists shoving their message down people's throats is just one part of the problem why Hollywood didn't do well this summer. TV is far more preferable now since the writing quality and productions have been increasing since the late 90's. Not to mention streaming from Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu with their original programming that's willing to take a chance.
