>>94589998This. Honestly, outiside serious hobbyists and supernerds, that's how most of us do it even as long-time readers. The only stories I keep up with monthly are via story-time or read online. Everything else I just grab the trade of if it interests me.
That said, I guess I'm not the normal reader. I'm really not interested in much of the stuff released recently. I'll likely grab Wowo Origin Rebirth, Batman Beyond because I want them to keep the line going, and maybe Super Sons. Otherwise I collect post-crisis stuff and indie comics, and the rare Marvel gem like Born Again.
