>Being excited to wake up early on a weekend
>Jumping in front of the TV as soon as you get home from school
>Knowing there's a cool toy from whatever action cartoon you're currently watching
>Somehow being able to find joy in playing a shitty game based on something /co/ related, even a Tiger Electronics one
>Arguing with you're friends over who gets to be what character while playing
I miss a lot about being a kid /co/, but I'm sure everyone does eventually. A lot of kids will grow up with their money and time invested into non-physical media that's lost as easily as you can delete something, and many of them won't feel the same sense of nostalgia as we do since they can bring up any show, cartoon, or game from their time growing up at any point and watch it, diluting any yearning for the past a fair bit (similarly, I don't find Super Mario Bros related stuff all that nostalgic due to overexposure). The next generation to grow up will be interesting, that's for sure, but I'm glad I'm not a part of it.
