Marvel's comic division can't keep sustaining itself on virtue signaling and diversity. They're literally being kept afloat by Spider-Man related titles, [the current event], and Star Wars books right now. If Disney never purchased up Star Wars they'd have probably collapsed already.
Perlmutter insisting on downsizing and eventually killing off The X-Men franchise because muh movie rights isn't helping either, given how those characters have always been important for Marvel sales figures.
Eventually Disney is going to see an entire division hemorrhaging money, say "The movies and cartoons make us money. Why aren't you?", and then do some sweeping changes.
